New Foster on the Horizon

We have a new foster dog waiting for us.  As soon as I get back from a business trip we will be ready.   Next week, dear one, next week.

For the first time we will open our hearts to a little female.  For the first time we will open our hearts to an orange/white one.  Her name is Diamante.  I'd have to think too much to use that name.  It doesn't just roll off the tongue like a name ought to.  Suffice it to say, as soon as we assess her personality it will be changed.

I hear tell she's very shy and not doing well in the shelter situation.  I wish someone could tell her that next week her luck is going to change.  Of course, taking her in January, we are breaking the "No Fosters in the Dead of Winter Rule".  But, we did that with Pete and managed okay.  Proof that rules are made to be broken.  We are also stretching the "Only One Foster at a Time" rule too.  Except, Mr. Hanky is only kinda like a foster since he's a permanent foster.  Again, some times you gotta bend those rules.

So we're looking ahead to bringing this little girl into our life and giving her a second chance.  Stay tuned, the fun gets started soon.
